Jason Says...
" I worked at the Little Chef on the A1 South in and around 2007/8. If you dropped in at that time I may have made you an Olympic breakfast. At the time there were absolutely no jobs in Grantham and I was struggling to get any work so when I saw the advert for a cook at Little Chef I applied and surprisingly I enjoyed it right from the off.
I liked the fact that it was so busy that I could think about nothing but the job in hand. When I got used to the menu, I could handle ten meals at a time and I enjoyed it. The problem was they didn’t pay me for the first three and a half months so I started getting pissed on the job and eventually got the sack.
Prior to that though my shift manager made me a name badge but instead of Jason, they put Sleaford Mods and the rest they say is history. "
